Holidays at Aravilla!
We enjoyed a wonderfully busy and festive holiday season here at Aravilla. We kicked off the month by heading out around town to take in the beautiful Christmas light displays. During our Tour of Lights, residents admired incredibly decorated neighborhoods, all while singing Christmas carols together on the bus. It was a joyful outing that truly captured the spirit of the season. Our Resident Holiday Party was another highlight of the season. Residents had the opportunity to mingle, enjoy live music performed by Joey, and indulge in a variety of delicious treats, including brownies, cheesecake, and eggnog. A special appearance by Santa and the lovely Mrs. Claus brought big smiles, and everyone was eager to have their photo taken with them. Our Aravilla staff also had a fantastic Christmas celebration of their own. A food truck provided delicious meals, and the festivities included fun games, prizes, & gifts as a way to thank our team for all they do throughout the year. To kick off the new year in style, residents were treated to champagne and a festive Noon Year’s Eve celebration with a countdown to 2025. We are looking forward to a healthy, happy, and wonderful year ahead here at Aravilla!
Forget Me Not Ministries
Every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., our residents eagerly welcome the church service provided by Forget Me Not Ministries, a long-standing and cherished partner in our Memory Care community. This meaningful weekly service offers our residents a sense of comfort, connection, and spiritual nourishment. Forget Me Not Ministries is dedicated to making God’s love accessible and inclusive for all individuals, regardless of their station in life. Their mission is to bring the Word of God to those who are unable to attend a traditional church service, and we are grateful that they provide an on-site service here at Aravilla each week. They also come prepared with plenty of hugs, warm smiles, and kind words that brighten our residents’ day. Our Candlelight Christmas Service was especially beautiful and heartfelt. Residents gathered together to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, sing familiar Christmas songs alongside members of the ministry, and reflect on the joy of the season. The service brought comfort, smiles, and a sense of togetherness that was truly special to witness. We are deeply thankful for the dedication of Forget Me Not Ministries and for the love, faith, and guidance they so generously share with all of us here at Aravilla.
Gorgeous Hair
Our wonderful hairdresser, Diane, has been part of our community since 2016, and we’re so grateful for her continued dedication. She offers a full range of services for both men & women, including haircuts, coloring, perms, sets, and styling. Diane’s friendly personality and professional touch help our residents feel confident, refreshed, and well cared for. Whether you’re preparing for a special event or simply looking to pamper yourself, we invite everyone to stop by her salon and schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome. A great hair day is just a visit away!
