Eat, Drink, and Wear Stretchy Pants!
Our senior residents and staff are getting ready for a day full of fun, food, and thankfulness! On Thursday, November 26, we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving with a full day of holiday festivities for our residents. We’ll kick off the morning with some Turkey Trot exercises to get everyone moving, followed by watching the beloved Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. When lunchtime rolls around, it’s time for the main event — our delicious Thanksgiving feast! After our big meal, we’ll settle in for some holiday classics, including A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Miracle on 34th Street, to wrap up our day with a little extra holiday magic. Here at Aravilla Sarasota, we have so much to be thankful for, and we’re grateful for the wonderful residents, families, and staff who make our community so special. From our Aravilla family to yours, we wish you a very happy Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and gratitude!
Puzzle Time for Seniors!
Here at Aravilla, our senior residents love putting their puzzle-solving skills to the test! We have two dedicated puzzle corners for everyone to enjoy. One features puzzles ranging from 50 to 200 pieces, while the other offers a bigger challenge with puzzles ranging from 200 to 1,000 pieces. Our puzzle corners are a favorite not only among our residents but also with our staff and visiting families! We love seeing everyone come together, piece by piece, to enjoy a little fun and friendly brain exercise. So, the next time you visit Aravilla, stop on by and put a few pieces together with us! We’d love to have you join the fun!
