Fun Walker & Wheelchair Wash at Aravilla Sarasota!
Our residents rolled outside with their walkers and wheelchairs, ready for a day of fun! As the classic “Car Wash” song played, everyone danced their way down the driveway to our very own walker and wheelchair wash. To help beat the heat, Diana treated every- one to refreshing ice popsicles before the real fun began. Residents had their wheels brushed and cleaned, then made their way through our colorful “car wash”—a rainbow inflatable sprinkler that provided plenty of laughs and a cool escape from the summer sunshine. Both residents and staff joined in the excitement, making it a wonderful event filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We captured lots of pictures and videos to remember this special day. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. Your enthusiasm and teamwork created a fun-filled experience that our residents truly enjoyed! Fun, friendship, & a little splash made for the perfect summer day at Aravilla!

To celebrate the start of summer, we hosted a fun-filled Hawaiian Luau for our residents! The party featured The Divas, who kept everyone entertained with a wonderful selection of tropical-themed songs. Residents also enjoyed delicious treats from our Tiki Bar, including pineapple upside-down cake.
Everyone was greeted with a warm “Aloha!” and received a colorful lei upon arrival. We also created a festive tropical photo backdrop where residents had a blast posing with fun props like coconut bras, grass skirts, tropical hats, and more. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, great music, delicious refreshments, and wonderful memories. Mahalo to everyone who joined us in making our Hawaiian Luau such a special celebration!
June Shenanigans!
In June, we enjoyed a fun outing to the new Mote Marine Aquarium! Residents loved seeing the sharks up close and had the opportunity to touch sea urchins, starfish, and other sea creatures in the interactive touch tank. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and fun.
We also celebrated Father’s Day with our “Donuts for Dad” social. Residents and their loved ones gathered to enjoy delicious donuts, great conversation, and quality time together. It was a sweet way to celebrate all the wonderful dads in our community!
